Evaluations

We offer comprehensive speech, language, and feeding evaluations to identify a child’s current strengths and needs. Results of the evaluation are used to create a tailored treatment plan if intervention is warranted. You will receive an in-depth written report with results and recommendations following the evaluation.

Speech & Language Therapy

We provide speech and language therapy tailored to your child’s needs and interests. We specialize in helping children with articulation and phonological disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, language delays (late talkers), receptive and expressive language disorders, stuttering, and social communication difficulties.

Jordan is proud to be recognized by Apraxia Kids for advanced training and expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She has significant experience evaluating and treating CAS and uses a combination of evidenced-based treatment approaches including DTTC, PROMPT, and ReST.

Oral Motor & Feeding Therapy

We provide personalized therapy for children with feeding and swallowing difficulties. Whether your child needs help overcoming picky eating, learning to eat and drink safely, increasing oral intake, or transitioning to solid foods, we will partner with you to make mealtimes more successful and enjoyable.

We also offer diagnostic and therapeutic services for children with tethered oral tissues (TOTs) also called tongue tie, lip tie, and buccal ties.

Parent Coaching & Consultations

We believe parents and other caregivers are a critical part of the therapy process and provide coaching on how to support your child outside of therapy sessions. We also offer consultations with other members of your child’s team to ensure collaboration among providers and success across settings.

Nurture Speech & Feeding Therapy provides exceptional speech, language, and feeding therapy in New York City. While we are goal-oriented, we also strive to make therapy fun and engaging! We tailor each treatment plan to your child’s unique needs and interests so they are motivated to learn and grow. We enjoy partnering with parents and caregivers in Manhattan to help children reach their greatest potential. We believe providing therapy in a comfortable, familiar environment yields excellent results and offer visits in your home, your child’s daycare/private school, or online via teletherapy.
